§ 148-2.  Modifications to standards.

§ 148-1. Adoption of standards.

That a certain document, one (1) copy of which is on file in the office Lower Paxton Township, being marked and designated as the 2006 International Property Maintenance  Code, as published by the International Codes Council, Inc., be and is hereby adopted as the Property Maintenance Code of Lower Paxton Township, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Property Maintenance Code are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Ordinance, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Section Two of this Ordinance.

§ 148-2. Modifications to standards.

The 2006 International Property Maintenance Code is adopted with the following amendments:

 

            Section 101.1 Insert: “Lower Paxton Township.”

 

            Section 103.5 Insert:     “A schedule of fees shall be adopted and revised from

            time to time by resolution of the Board of Supervisors of Lower Paxton

            Township.”

 

            Section 106.4 Add at the end of this paragraph: “A violation of the Property Maintenance Code for Lower Paxton Township shall be enforced through action brought before a district justice in the same manner provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedures.  A fine for violation of the Property Maintenance Code shall not exceed $1,000.00 per violation and may include imprisonment to the extent allowed by law for summary offenses.”

 

            Section 302.4 Insert: “ten inches (10”).”

 

            Section 304.14 Insert: “May 1 to November 1.”

 

            Section 602.3 Insert: “October 1 to April 30.”

 

            Section 602.4 Insert: “October 1 to April 30.”
